Jack Welch was CEO of General Election from 1981-2001, and is responsible for the way corporations are still being run today. His so-called "war on loyalty" saw the rise of diverting funds that would be spent on R&D and investing in employees to the pockets of shareholders who became every major corporations primary focus thanks to Mr. Welch.
